You cannot expect a good nights sleep if the psychological and physiological conditions are not conducive to a restful night. Sleeping well occurs because “the all is right with the world” is the mindset of the individual. Your partner may also be a cause for anxiety for reasons you may not be able to put your finger on.
There are many myths and habits that we try in the hope of achieving a good night’s sleep.Going to bed earlier, is one, but ultimately all that achieves is spending more time tossing and turning. Taking a nap during the day may help initially but all that does is upset the nighttime routine. How often do you find yourself nodding off while watching TV in the evening only to find that when you go to bed you cannot sleep! There are many suggestions that can help your lack of sleep from natural remedies, more exercise, less coffee. Follow those guidelines and you may get some relief but unfortunately, unless your day-to-day stress has been resolved sleeping nights will not happen.
